Cuisinart food processor part - safety catch

This replacement part fits into the work bowl of a Cuisinart Prep 11 Plus (DLC-2011) food processor, and may fit other models as well. The part works exactly like the original. It can't be purchased separately, as far as I can tell.

The part allows the work bowl cover to close the safety switch once the cover is twisted into place -- without it, the machine won't work. With it, the machine will only work with the lid on.

The original part attached to the bowl with two cylindrical nubs instead of a hole in the middle, but I had to drill out the center to remove it from the cover without cracking the plastic.

The new part can be fixed in place with a small screw, threaded into the center hole (see photo).
