Summary

This is a board created to help visually impaired people learn things they see daily in a classroom. Not only can you write Braille code, it is also possible to couple several of them to create a three-dimensional texture space, and draw any possible shape so that it can be touched.

How I Designed This

The story

            <div><p>The main idea that had to create this project, was that it did not want to create something that only had a single use. I wanted it to work for many things and to be useful. That would allow the visually impaired to be able to create and view textured images.</p><p>The first thing I thought about was sticks that would fit into a board at different heights, but then I realized the screws would work fine for that. I wanted a huge board so they could create great images too, but I could not create something so big, because my computer could not do it. I decided that it would be best to create small boards that would join together to create a larger board.</p><p>That's how I ended up with a design that has as many functions as you can imagine.</p></div>
