OpenForge 2.0 Cut Stone Diagonal,Curved and Corridor Half Walls
I Love Devon Jones' OpenForge 2.0 work and have printed a number of his items out in the last few days that I have had a 3D printer. I like the half height tiles as they require less material, print faster and allow the GM/DM to observe character/item placement better. Only corner and straight wall sections were currently available in the half height tiles (that I am aware of), so I used Blender (very badly-with 2 hours youtube training) to modify existing Curved, Diagonal and Corridor wall sections into the presented half height versions.
I made the Curved and Diagonal tiles on square bases so they are reversible (ie concave/convex for the curved walls and mirrored on the diagonal)
Please note that as I am a new Blender user (with limited experience), the brick layout may be off by half a brick compared to Devon's work (ie a full brick will align with a half brick on an adjoining tile instead of another full brick), however, this is not really noticeable.
See attached photos for example layouts. I print in black, give a quick brush over in dark grey then dry brush light grey for highlights as I am a lazy painter. I have attached magnetic bases to these photo examples and they work well. Second photo is just an example way of making wider corridors using standard wall sections as standard corridor can be a little tight. I am not experienced enough in Blender to really make wider corridors myself.
