The background for this Thing however is to get rid of all parts you cannot print in 3d and as one part!
It took some prints to get the right distance to let the hinge move, but it works fine now.

Clean up code

First, I reduced many unnecessary and redundant code lines and used for every part that came at least twice, the “modeule()” function of openSCAD, which I should use from the beginning for the screw clamp case.

The right functionality

For the hinge it’s very important that the nuckle and the pin are mirrored on the other side! Otherwise the two parts will get loose.

To get a good moving hinge I needed a distance of 0.2 mm.
I think it depends on your accuracy of your printer.

The right wall thickness

I’m using a 0.4 mm nozzle on my Prusa i3. The printed model at the images has a wall thickness of 1.2 mm which means it gets TWO walls with a distance of 0.4 mm. This causes a brittle wall which you can split in two with you finger nails or even the hinge breaks out - like in the last image (the back of the closed case).
To avoid this, you need to print a two-layered wall with a wall thickness of 0.8 mm and a layer thickness of 0.4mm, or a 1.6 mm thick wall with four layers an layer thickness of 0.8 mm in your printer setting
