X525 Quad Copter Spring Loaded Landing Gear

Lighter weight landing gear for the X525 Quad. Use a small spring, and a 1/4" wood dowel for the shafts, drill a hole through it for a strand of filament (with the hole positioned so the spring will be slightly compressed once the part is assembled). I've been using a dowell 2 1/2" long with the through hole drilled 0.35" from the end. Flare the end of the filament with a hot nail to keep them from sliding out. Epoxy the dowel into the top section so it doesn't vibrate out in flight.

UPDATE: I have uploaded a new upper section as the initial one was fragile and easily broken. Gussets have been added to strengthen the part.

UPDATE2: The version 3 upper mount was still too fragile (at least in 15 degree F weather, so I've made a beefed up version. Version 5 is the latest...I've also tapered it towards the base to make it look nicer.
