Summary

ABS fumes is something i don't want to have during my prints, so i designed a compact active carbon filter to neutralize the possibly toxic fumes locally from the nozzle.
This thing is for MG Prusas but it can be compatible with other printers with some alterations.

!! Needless to say, is that you have to Disable all cooling fans, if you want the ventilator to work effectively !!

Instructions

Print all stl files as they are, no alteration needed.
You can choose to print 'fume INTAKE body&nozzle-rotate-180-v1 (repaired)-meshmixer.stl' instead of 'fume INTAKE body&nozzle-rotate-180-v1 (repaired).stl'

The difference is that the meshmixer version has already the support needed; all the other slicers create too much unwanted support that is difficult to remove (especially from inside the pipe). I used the meshmixer version and it came out well.

After printing the fume INTAKE body&nozzle-rotate-180-v1, you may see some small gaps. Using an epoxy glue you can fill these gaps. Print using SLOWDOWN print when layer is less than 60 secs

Also you will need active carbon (from a pet shop see photos)
and some filter tissue. Active carbon can be substituted with active carbon sponge.

Assemble with the following order:

fume INTAKE body&nozzle-rotate-180-v1
fume intake fan mount
fume intake carbon cartridge (glue the filter tissue)
fill cartridge with active carbon
fume intake carbon catridge-lid (glue the filter tissue)
the fan itself

use the 3 M3x40 to make an assembly.Put an extra nut after the catridge lid and before the fan, to press the lid on the cartridge (see photo).

You can tilt the body to adjust the nozzle disance.
