Summary

This is a bracket to hold small brushless motors. It affixes motors to the 5mm thick photocard commonly used to build foam-flyer radio controlled aircraft.

Instructions

Print the model (I used an Ultimaker and PLA). Then tidy up holes to match your screws, nuts, bolts etc. Remove any stringing with a sharp knife. Sand off any sharp edges to avoid damaging wiring and improve safety.

Fit the motor to the bracket first. (I used a CF2805 motor but this should work with a range of small RC brushless motors)

The bracket will push firmly onto the edge of 5mm standard paper covered photoboard as available in the UK from most art shops. Use glue and dowells to permanently fix the bracket to the board.
