TL4100 Pillar LED Mounts

I downloaded the Geetech Rostock Delta LED strip clip by Quadsequence, as it looked like it would fit my Jaycar TL4100 (TL-4100) delta I bought a few weeks back, so i promptly printed it out. Unfortunately the pillar supports by Geetech are quite a lot larger, so I downloaded the STL and imported them into Tinkercad for editing. I filled the holes, made the arms shorter, made the overall width shallower to fit my ebay LED strip that I have laying around, and popped in some 7.8mm holes to make it a nice tight fit on the 8mm poles.

I tried affixing the LED strips to the PLA mounts, but the cheap adhesive kept coming off. I next tried some superglue, but managed to get my fingers stuck to everything :). So, the LED's eventually were stuck to the clips with 4 cable ties, between the gap of the LED's. I wired it underneath to the 12V input source of the duinotech board. It does get a bit "pulsy" when the heater bed is keeping the temp right, so I may filter the strips with a capacitor yet.

It definitely helps to view the build in progress, and shows up any irregularities (like the copious amounts of glue on my bed!) You won't need the one at the back shining into your eyes either.

Edit: I will probably shorten the arms further yet, as I was printing a large model today (150mm dia), and the print platform (motor) kept clashing with the lights. I had to unclip them for that print, but can definitely lose 1cm more yet.
