M2 80mm fan side mount

Press fit mount to attach an 80mm fan to a MakerGear M2 on the x-motor side of the gantry.

I was having trouble finding decent 24V 50mm fans, and there were clearance issues with the front bed clip, so I decided to go to an 80mm fan and side mount it. This mount clamps on to the corner of the gantry, and the fan slides onto the prongs. I haven't put in anything to secure it there, but it doesn't seem necessary. (I haven't actually run the fan from that location as I am waiting on the proper connector). You can see in the photo of the outside face where I had to pause the print because the current 50mm fan got bent up from the bed clip.

This can probably be adapted to mount other things in that location as well, such as a camera. Care should be taken so that anything being mounted does not interfere with the extruder at the end of its X travel.

See instructions for testing the clamp fit before printing.

UPDATE: the printed fan prongs were too fragile, so I've removed them and added holes for screws. Use 6-32 or 8-32 1 1/4" screws with nuts.

UPDATE: I do not recommend this fan setup, I found it lacked cooling at the nozzle and went back to the stock fan setup. I leave up the files in case they turn out to be useful to anyone.
