Hexapod Robot printable +/-400x450mm

This is the hexapod i'm designing. It is a still ongoing process. All the parts for legs and body are printable on any reprap machine as long as it's build surface is at least 200x200mm.
It is designed for MG996R servo's, but other types will fit too. As long as they're futaba compatible (just measure the servo's before buying.
It has 4DOF (degrees of freedom) per leg. This means you'll need at least 24 servo's for the legs only.
The model is updated right now and as soon as it's done i'll post the files.
The zipfile contains a sample hexapod code. It can be used as an example depending on what hardware you're using. There is lots of info about software and electronics for the hexapod on http://lynxmotion.com
