Kurzweil K2600 Main Board Support
This is a main board support for Kurzweil K2600 synthesizer. It supports the main electronics board in the bottom metal frame. The original supports almost all broke due to age and/or handling. They get mechanically overloaded as they were under-designed. The board was poorly supported and I wouldn't have been able to sleep knowing that it's straining like that :)
The original broken parts removed from the keyboard approximately resemble RICHCO part EHCBS-5-01, but the dimensions don't fully agree. The RICHCO part would likely work, had you replaced all of them so that their dimensions would match. I had the keyboard apart and didn't want to wait for replacements to arrive. I don't want to handle it any more than necessary - it's a 70+lb beast.
The 3D model is made to the dimensions of the "Kurzweil" part, not the RICHCO part, and slightly modified for better printability. The end of the pin may require a dedicated support to bond it to the bed and prevent lifting.
While this model has most of the shape of the original, and thus might fail in a similar fashion, I'm not intending to move my keyboard much and expect the part to last. Should it fail again, or if you expect to transport your gear a lot, some cross-sections should be enlarged to make it stronger.
Note: I didn't wait for the Nylon to be fully dried before printing - the prints I took the pictures of are merely passable.
