Mouse excluder plug

Farm trash barrels need a drain hole. but if you drill a half inch hole the barrel can then quickly fill with mice which, if you aren't careful, you then carry back to your garage. Now drill a half inch hole and insert this drain plug, i.e. the mouse excluder device.. Can be scaled up or down for different size holes (who knew). This thing was made with Tinkercad. I learned a serious lesson here, when last I drug my feet after designing this thing and drilling holes in my barrels. What happened next, the mice, irritated by my conservative estimates of their physical prowess, i.e. their manhood/womanhood, made the holes twice as big, hence defeating and even enhancing the already obnoxious problem... and.... while they made my excluder useless (surprise), and although my barrels now drain properly... the new holes provide enough room for snakes to enter in search of critters. Hence, today,, when I lift those barrels, I lift them very gingerly, avoiding the mice and snakes beneath the barrels. Another pure genius idea from Dr. Kimble, Purdue '77. Oh, I forgot to mention, once started, they didn't stop, one barrel they chewed a path clear around the outside, forcing me to discard the barrel... True story!!
