Summary

UbertoothOne is a Bluetooth Spectrum Analyzer. If purchased assembled it comes as a bare circuit board. I searched a bit on Thingiverse but could not find something to fit the spec, so why not build my own! This was my first successful 3D print project. It works best with the clear filament, but we ended up running out. The back cap fits a little loose but when attached to the USB plug, it stays put.

Instructions

Using 123D Design Desktop app, I began using sketches (after 3 attempts to just place the 3D objects).

I brushed the dust off my geometry skills and created 6 different sketches.
Main box = 13.00mm x 22.52mm sketch
Antenna = 8.00mm diameter circle sketch
Inner box = 10.00mm x 19.52mm sketch
Outer Cap = used Main box sketch
Inner Cap = 8.90mm x 18.42mm sketch
USB = 5.05mm x 12.55mm sketch

Extruded the Main box sketch first to 65.25 mm
Placed the inner box sketch centered on the Main Box
Extruded down through the main box 63.50mm for the antenna whole
Centered the antenna sketch and extruded through the bottom of the box.
Placed the out Outer Cap sketch on the plane and extruded that up 2.00mm
Centered the Inner Cap sketch on the Out Cap and extruded up 1.00mm
Centered the USB port on the Inner Cap and Extruded down 4.00mm.
Select the cap and group it so everything moves around the plane easily.
For verification move the cap and flip it to see if it fits the end of the main box.

Save your sketches and make sure your objects are flush with the plane. I having issues with the Makerbot where it wasn't printing the cap at the same time as the case and it started to goo up. I was told that the Makerware app should bring everything to equal level but for some reason it didn't see the cap at all. I had to run through Autodesk first then send it to Makerware.
