NOTE: This project was abandoned years ago. During 2019 I did a complete overhaul of the hard- and software. The new design uses now off the shelf components and an Arduino controller for better availability. It connects as HID joystick using native USB (not VUSB). A Fusion360 addon is currently in development. The new design will be published soon. Stay tuned.
