Bicycle phone mount for Moto G Plus (5th Gen)

Created so I could have GPS and Strava without having to reach in my pocket for the phone every time.

I will try to update the STL file to orientate it for the best position for printing.</p></div>

How I Designed This

Designed for 22.2mm bars. 3 pieces so that the clamp can be reworked to fit different bars.

Hardware needed:
2x M4 x 20 Socket head cap screws
2x M4 nuts (preferably nyloc)

I believe the PLA shrunk a bit and I had to add 1 wrap of electrical tape to keep the mount from being loose on the bars.

Update: The phone was a bit loose in the mount, I did not loose the phone while it was in the mount though. I have tightened up the tolerances on the slot for the phone to make it fit tighter. I moved the stop closer to phone to help hold it in better as well. I also made the clamps wider from 9mm to 13mm as they seemed a little bit flimsy. I am still contemplating making a double clamp setup for the bars. I will see if that is necessary once I get the printer free long enough to print a set out.

Update

June 9 '18: Remodeled in Fusion 360 for dual clamps. The single clamp was working fine but I wanted just a little more support.
