Summary

Supports act as spacers to fill in the gap between my plastic and the spool. These supports provide for even tension for smooth dispensing.

I have two different sizes of spools, so there are two different sizes of supports.

Instructions

I am printing 8 copies for each spool. I have one spool for the one pound 11.5" bundle; the other spool is for the five pound 6" bundle.

I will insert the 8 pieces between the plastic and the inner diameter of the spool.

NOTE: The 5x6x5support.stl file should be 3-5x6x5supportX2.stl to indicate 3.5" x 6" x 5". Not sure why the upload would have changed it, but that's when it happened.

UPDATE: What was I thinking? The new file for 3-5x6x5.stl prints too tall. New file has support to 2.5" and 2 copies print together.
