How I Designed This

Design Method

            <div><p>This particular votive holder is just an image.  I made a series of these with custom text on a picture for friends and family for Christmas 2017.</p><ul><li>Find suitable image.  In this case a particularly iconic Vog boot.</li><li>Bring image into editor, add text such as Happy Holidays or whatever makes you happy.  This one has no text to allow others to more easily remix it.</li><li>Go to <a rel="nofollow" href="http://3dp.rocks/lithophane/">http://3dp.rocks/lithophane/</a> select solid cylinder, add image created above and download .stl file.</li><li>Use favorite cad program, in my case Tinkercad, to resize, hollow out, and smooth model.</li><li>Slice.</li><li>Print.</li></ul><p>I used generic LED Tealights, this particular model has a 45mm openening.</p></div>
