Maglite D Cell Anti-Roll Apparatus

I keep a large D cell Maglite in my trunk...for light & security purposes....you never know when it may be needed...
Had it there for years from car to car. When its unsecured it rolls around and bangs into everything. I finally couldn't take it anymore and google sketched up a simple quick slip on anti-roll mechanism. Its snug and requires removal of the battery cap to fit. Sketchup design included. Had it in the truck for a week -- it works great.

Get a big D-cell Maglite, put the heaviest alkalines you can find, attach the anti-roll apparatus and keep 'er in the truck. Always be ready!
