Summary

Tailight housings for the 57 ford f100 style rc body. I made it for a HPI body but the others would likely fir fine.

How I Designed This

downloaded a picture of a f7 ford f100 tailight lens. Used an online converter to convert from .png to .svg format. imported svg into 123d design and extruded to length, then using the combine tool i deleted the angle of the fender to allow them to point straight back.

glued them to the rear fender of the rc body, drilled through and inserted red leds from behind. using an extra print i shaped some red lexan to match the outline and glued them over the housing. I will be making up an arduino controller for the lights, and posting it with my other projects on arduino create.
