3 Axis Camera System

A Camera Arm that can be controlled using an Arduino CNC Shield and uses 3 NEMA stepper motors.

READ EVERYTHING BEFORE COMMITING TO A BUILD
Can be configured with a variety of motors:
-NEMA 17 Direct Drive
-NEMA 23 Direct Drive
-NEMA 17 4.16:1 Gearing

Additional Hardware Needed:

  • 6 608 size ball bearings. Preferably sealed or shielded type.
  • ~300mm of 8mm shaft. Cut to 130, 55, 100mm lengths
  • 1/4-20 or 3/8-16 nut, depending on which mount you need to print.
  • 1/4-20 x 1 inch hex head cap bolt

Fasteners:

  • 4 M5x27mm Screws
  • 4 M4x10mm Screws
  • 16 M4x20mm Screws

Additional Hardware For Motor Mounting, Per Motor:
NEMA 23 Direct, Tilt and Turn

  • 8 M5x27mm Low Profile (3mm or lower head size) screw
  • 4 3D Printed Standoff (attached, 50mm)
    NEMA 23 Direct, Pan
  • 4 M5x27mm Screw
    NEMA 17 Direct
  • 8 M5x27mm Screw
  • 4 3D Printed Standoff (attached, 50mm)
  • NEMA 23-17 Adapter Plate (Attached)
  • M3x6 Screw
    NEMA 17 Geared
  • 50T Spur Gear
  • 12T Pinion Gear
  • NEMA 17 Geared Plate (attached, covered
    version if exposed gears are not desired)
  • M4 Set Screw <6mm
  • 4 M3x6 Screw
  • 4 M5x10 Low Profile Screw
  • M4x20 Screw
  • 8mm ID Split Shim (attached)
  • Print No Standoff version of Bottom Stepper Mount if using on Pan is desired.
