Raspberry Pi 3 Digital Stand-in

This is a 3d model of a Raspberry Pi 3 that I modeled and printed as part of a Pi3 printable case project I also made.

I made it so I could print it and compare it to my actual Raspberry Pi3 to verify my dimensions were correct in my model and to verify my printer's relevant accuracy.

Major dimensions (bolt holes, component locations) were taken from a detailed drawing from the Pi Foundation. Other, lesser dimensions were take by me from an actual Pi3 with a SAE dial caliper (I need to get a metric caliper) and converted to metric - rounded to the nearest .25mm in most cases. So dimensions are not perfect. But they're close enough to design a case around.

The GPIO pins are represented by a box that marks their extent.

Included are two models.

One complete - with the (minimal) bottom detail in tact (SD card reader, GPIO pin solder points, and whatever chip is on the bottom).

The other is a flat bottom model (omitting the SD card reader, GPIO solders, and whatever chip that is on the bottom of the Pi3) so that the model can be printed flat on the bed without supports.

Supports may be needed where components (USB, Ethernet, 3.5mm headphone, HDMI, and microUSB power ports) overhang the PCB - even on the flatbottom model.

Included are STL and STP files in case anybody wants to improve my model in any way - if I didn't make it clear, this is probably not perfectly accurate down to tiny fractions of a mm.

Also, this is my first time uploading a model to Thingiverse (or anywhere). This is my first model shared with anybody. It all works on my setup - going from my design software to Slic3r to my Tevo Tarantula. I'm completely new to most of this. So beware and be gentle.
