Summary

This is a clamp that clips onto the edge of 19 mm tabletops and lets you clip in 4 Oscilloscope probes. I designed this to hold Agilent N2862B probes but I guess the shape of scope probes is quite common.

This was just cosmetic though and is probably partially caused by a slightly unleveled bed.<br>On the desk clamp part some layer splitting occurred due to the shrinkage of ABS. I think maybe some tweaks at the print settings or a heated chamber would fix this. But it's not that bad either and I chose to live with it.</p><p>I don't know how well the snapping mechanism for the probes works with PLA. If someone tries this, feedback would be interesting</p></div>

Post-Printing

I just trimmed the brim of and screwed the two parts together with 3 self tapping screws (2 mm outer diameter, 8 mm long, PH1 head with 5mm diameter).

I considered smoothing the parts in acetone vapor and maybe I will try this later but for now the part surface is good enough for its purpose.

How I Designed This

I used 123D Design for construction of the parts and sliced with Slic3r Prusa edition 1.39.1.

The tapping holes for the screws in the desk clamp part I designed to shrink from 2 mm diameter down to grip the screws tightly. I guess this only works well for vertically printed holes. I might reduce the diameter of those holes later but for now the screws gripped well enough.
