The Hobbyking SK450 frame comes with 4 Motor Adapter plates.

The plates are made of fiberglass. They are extremely rigid yet lightweight.

Unfortunately, I've had too many crashes with my quadcopter, and each time, I've had to buy an entire frame kit to just get these new plates! That's a fair chunk of money and countless time wasted waiting for the shipments to arrive.

I recommend milling/CNC-ing the plate out of brass or aluminium/aluminum for rigidity. 3D printing this using PLA at 90% infill was still too flexible. I have not tried ABS yet.
