Magical Belt Hanger Thingy

What is this crazy thing?

When I was a child my dad used to trace out a pattern over and over on a piece of wood, cut them out with a scroll saw, and give them to us kids.

You try balancing this thing on the tip of your finger, and it would fall away as you would expect.

But, put a belt in the notch... and the whole thing floats in mid-air off the tip of your finger! Cool!

I've made a model of this hanger and posted it so you too can print it out and share this toy with your kids (or those who are still kids at heart)!
