Raspberry Pi 3 ZipTie Case - Zip-Tie RPi Raspi

I really liked the Rpi case by 0110-M-P but I didn't have the necessary hardware on hand, so I designed a case that uses ZipTies instead. I always have zipties laying around, and some of the 8" ties are less than 3mm wide and do a great job of fitting through M3 hardware holes.

I removed the mounting ears from the original model, but they could easily be added back. I don't tend to use them, so this is a relatively sleek, simple case that fits the models 2 and 3 (I started with 0110's Rpi 3 file). I also bumped the SD card slot over by a millimeter so that it's better centered on the card itself. YMMV

This design includes the ribbon cable and GPIO knockout slots from the original. I used "Power Gear" brand zip-ties, but I've seen the same sized ones from GB, 3M, and others.

Designed from the original STL file with DesignSpark Mechanical. Editable RSDOC file is included.
