Summary

These files are for a simple case for the Raspberry Pi Camera that can be used to mount the camera on the telescope eyepiece. There are two files. One is for a one inch eyepiece and the second is for 1 1/4 inch eyepiece.

How to use them is described in a book "Science and Engineering Projects
Using the Arduino and Raspberry Pi " by Paul and David Bradt.
This book will be released in the summer of 2020.

How I Designed This

Designed this item in FreeCad using simple primitives.

Attached the cover plate by threading holes in the corners.

Attached the camera to the case using foam with adhesive on two sides.

Attached the Raspberry Pi and its camera to two different telescopes: small Meade desktop and an old 4 1/2 inch reflector.

Works great many beautiful images of the moon, Jupiter, and Saturn captured with it.
