Summary

A small keychain featuring the Germanic eagle. To make this model I used a Spanish variation of this symbol, yet the result resembles both emblems equally at first sight, especially if printed using black filament.

Once you insert the model in your slicing software, please SIZE IT UP to the desired dimensions and continue with the print.

Post-Printing

Just add the Keychain Ring and Good2Go

            <div><p>Once the eagle is printed, it can be filed down a bit if the print has left unwanted filament at the edges. But most importantly, place a keychain ring through the hole in its tail (I used PLA and the print was VERY TOUGH considering the keychain I had to insert was thick).</p></div>

How I Designed This

Simple designing of a flat eagle in Blender

            <div><p>I began making a very rough aproximation to the body of an eagle using the mirror object modifier in Blender. The head should be left for the end because it's looking to the left.</p><p>I found feathers a bit more laborious than the rest of the bird.
