Kyosho Mini-z brushless motor mount.
7/2/2019 update:
I've not run this for many years, but a fellow thingiverse member asked if I could post some new pictures of my conversion.
I ended up putting a 8T pinion and recall that this setup was much nicer than the 13T but don't have a Rx on this anymore to test.
Here is a list of what I ended up with:
- ESC: Turnigy TrackStar
- Battery: 4 AAA stock
- Steering: OEM mechanics, wired up with a servo board taken from ?Hobbico CS-12?
- Motor: HobbyKing's S2030-6570 Brushless Inrunner 6560kv
- Pinion: 8T brass
I was barely able to get the chassis on this thing. Hopefully today's electronics are much much smaller.
Converted my Mini-Z MR-01 to brushless motor.
I'm using HobbyKing's S2030-6570 Brushless Inrunner 6560kv. I only had a 13T pinion which made the car really slow at acceleration. I really need something lower like 7T or 8T.
