Summary

Are you trapped in a situation where you need to mount something to something else, have no clue how, and both things conveniently have two surfaces that are perpendicular to one another? Well my friends, you are in luck! The Parametric Mounting Bracket is completely parametric, having 13 customizable parameters.

Instructions

IMPORTANT: Download and modify the SCAD file! It's likely that the STL file is useless to you.

Parameters are as follows:
-4 configuration settings: 1. Single hole, 2. Horizontal slot, 3. Vertical slot, 4. Vertical and horizontal slot
-Thickness of base portion of bracket
-Thickness of upright portion of bracket
-Thickness of angled supports
-Mounting bolt diameters
-Gap between base and upright portions of bracket
-Selection between holes and a slot in the base
-Slot length adjustment
-Space between slot and edge of bracket

Just open the SCAD file in any compatible program and change the settings in the first few lines.

This thing is a Work In Progress. It's very possible that in the future I will either add more features or completely change the functionality of this file, such as multiple slots, stacked slots, easy placement of new holes or slots, further adjustment of shape, support, and more. Just as long as my head keeps coming up with new ideas!
