Stanchion conversion for a microphone stand

Convert a microphone stand (I used this with round base stands) into a stanchion that can be used to create rope barriers. The part is added to the lower pipe attached to the base. Other parts of the stand are removed.

One design to slide inside the lower pipe for an internal friction fit. If the fit is loose, masking tape can be used to increase the width if you don't want to reprint it.

The second design is to be screwed onto threaded end of the lower pipe (smaller than the first design). The part itself is not threaded however. The threads of the stand should just make contact with the wall, allowing it to screw into place, and secure the part.
