Griffinbot (Custom H-bot)

The Griffinbot is a 3D printer that I have designed and built for my High school senior project. It is of the H-bot design, and therefore has the capability to print at very fast speeds (100mm/s+). It is currently in testing, but so far the results are well up to my standards.
Much of my experience has come from working on and maintaining my Robotics class' Makerbot Thing-o-Matic. I went with the H-bot design because the axes are essentially the opposite of the TOM.
Many parts of the frame are made of Lasercut 1/4" MDF wood. I decided on this because it is a unique design, it made the printer easier to fabricate, and I also have access to a laser cutter in my school's robotics class.
Parts of the X & Y Axes have been inspired by other H-bot printers on Thingiverse, such as the Doboz 2(http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:27202) and this printer by librav(http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:40072). The parts have been remodeled to fit my specifications and design.
Higher quality pictures with more detail will be uploaded soon.
