Just installed this double E3D hotend on my Fullscale XT.

Double printing pleasure.

It is like a puzzle to mount this, if there is no hurry, please wait for the redesigned mount that fixes more easily directly to the crossbars.

Instructions

Flip the parts to suit your printing options.

You have 3 parts:

fan shroud for the double 30mm fans that come with the E3D's
baseplate where the 2 E3D's get fixed
fixer plate, that holds the 2 hotends together in the right position

Assemble hotend per manufacturers directions.
Slide the hotends in the baseplate, fix them with the fixing plate and screw the plates to the effector with 4 M3 screws.
I would suggest changing the Mankati PTFE Bowden tube for a better one and also keeping it as short as possible.

Fix the 2 fans with M3 screws directly into the plastic housing. Slide the fan shroud on the hotend. For the fans, use the right (second) fan cable, it is always powered, as it should be.

Don't forget to print and install the longer Z end-stop holder, as it is now, this design looses about 1cm in Z height.

Follow the link and at the bottom of the page click "Build it" and download the whole zip file, extract .hex file and flash from Cura.
Finally, you will have true temperature shown (original Mankati firmware was showing 30C too much to protect the lousy hotends).

Never shut down the printer before the hotend cools down!
