OnePlus 6 Dock

The OnePlus 6 is awesome, but a bit new I suppose. I couldn't find a dock for it! So I made one.

I hope you enjoy it, it's close fitted and made for the OnePlus 6 using the Translucent Case that comes with the phone and the original USB C cable.

Other cases might work. When not using a case it's a bit... wobbly. If you're not using a case and don't want it wobbly I suggest some soft adhesive tabs fitted to the dock as the phone is quite hard. But if you want to modify the model, go ahead! Other cables might work, please comment if that's the case!

Oh, I added a hole under the speaker and it actually amplifies the sound a bit! You might be able to fit a 3,5mm plug through the hole at the other side, but I haven't tried it.

INSTALLATION:

1. Print
2. Check for sharp edges
3. Thread the USB C connector through the hole at the bottom
4. Gently tug on the cable so it goes through the slot to the middle
5. Push down the connector in the middle slot. Pull Gently on the cable while doing this, don't pull hard! You might damage it.
6. Thread the cable backwards and pull a little so it's a bit taut.
7. From the front to the back, wiggle the cable into the recess. You might need to use something to pry it in there if it's snug. With a well calibrated printer this shouldn't be an issue. If you use a metal screwdriver like me, be careful! Something plastic would be better.
8. Done!
