Thick Nautilus Earrings
I love some of the other nautilus earrings out there but they were a bit too thin for a decent fill or shell number. Plus I wanted to be able to print them at a smaller since since my girlfriend has a smaller frame. So I took the original design, snapped a photo of it, thickened the main curve significantly while the compartment curves slightly, trimmed the long edge, then used shapeways to take the jpg into x3db, then netfabb to take the x3db to an stl.
Printed at 90 mm/s and 150 mm/s at 225C in PLA at 100% with two shells and .2mm layerheight on Replicator 2x.
