Summary

This is a heat chamber/enclosure for the up! plus/afinia printer.
It uses a small 200w hand heater such as this one and a thermostat like this one

It can easily maintain 50°C inside the camber. Probably more if you wish.

It really helps with massive prints without warping.

It is mostly laser cut out of 6mm MDF and 3mm plexiglass.
It also uses a few 3D printed pieces.
The doors are held using 6x3mm magnets such as these ones.

It was made at and for RealizeBxl.

Instructions

LaserCutting:

LaserCut the black pieces of EncolusreFlatAssembly in 6mm MDF
LaserCut the red pieces of EncolusreFlatAssembly in 3mm * transparent plexiglass
LaserCut TopCurtain.dxf out a thin transparent sheet of plastic (remember: NEVER lasercut PVC).

3D printing:

3D Print the stl files.

mounting

Attach the side and bottom panels. You will need longer 2.5mm screws than the originals ones.
Screw the L and Tri corners
Glue the 6x3mm cylinder magnets to the corners using Epoxy.
Glue the 6x3mm cylinder magnets to the doors using Epoxy and be sure you don't mess with the polarity direction (they should attract, not repel!)
Screw the heater as you see in the photo.
Mount the thermostat.
Place the sensor in the printer using "supportSonde.stl".
