EQ-3 tripod leg clamp replacement

The EQ-3 mount is a very light aluminum tripod. For it is not very heavy there are major problems with its leg clamps. The plastic ist 1. very week 2. not UV proof. If you are doing a lot of daytime usage the plastic will break over time because of ultraviolet light.

We in our astronomy club "Astronomische Vereinigung Vorderpfalz e.V." in Ludwigshafen, (South-Western)Germany, Palatinate made our own replacement. On our german webpage http://avvp.de you can get further informations.
