This has been printed and i'm using it in my car at the moment, The little cylinder thing on the primary and secondary arms is for a 2" piece of ~18 gauge steel wire to fit through and provide some flexibility/hold to the assembly. To hook the disk and the disk lid and the cradle all together, sit the lid in the cradle, then put the lid on top of it, take a soldering iron, and run it around the edge between the lid and the back of the cradle, melt the plastic together between the two and vuala! plastic welding.

To actually mount it to a windshield you will need any old mounting kit suction cup assembly. (or just print some adapter from this to a random suction cup from something else)
My old one was just a suction cup and a lever with a bolt through it, (hence the weird back end of the primary arm) it fits a 5/16" hex cap screw (or there abouts, the space is enough to fit .35" or 8mm hex cap nut.)

You should be able to squeeze in a M3x16mm bolt and nut on there and should have a snug fit, if you cant fit it file it out a tiny bit and thread it on in there. (makes for less random falling apart and more holding position)

I added another bit of wire around the bolt head in the secondary arm to support the x axis rotation stay in one place. It works for me, so I haven't had the energy to modify it to make a more permanent solution to support that joint in particular.
