Amplified Shunt for mA, µA and nA Current Measurements
A device for measuring small currents.
Improved Version: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3092910
Largely inspired by the opensourced 'µCurrent' from David L. Jones: https://www.eevblog.com/projects/ucurrent/
Advanced SMD soldering skills are required to build this project!
Hints:
Solder the switches in the right orientation (see video)
Make sure the current flow through the shunt is from + to -
Measure on the low side of the load (place the shunt between load and ground)
Use the tool with a low voltage and current limited power supply
Additional needed Parts:
Printed Circuit Board (upload the .zip file to your favorite manufacturer)
Parts in the Partlist (see file 'partlist_amplified_shunt.csv')
2x 2x10mm Spax Screw
