Expo / Dry Erase Marker Holder

I wanted a simple way to store my dry erase markers on my desk. The marker caps should fit tightly enough for you to remove the marker with the cap remaining in the holder (assuming the part is stuck down to the desk). Two sizes are provided, one for 3 markers and the other for 4.

This part is meant to be glued or strongly bonded to a surface but it can also be placed on a desk. If you are using the 3 marker version and leaving it free standing, print the stand and glue it to the bottom as shown in the photos so it won't fall over. The 4 marker version does not require a stand even when not glued down.

The expo_cap_test stl is a test print to determine if you should scale the print up or down slightly to get the correct fit. I printed the models on a Monoprice select mini and Tronxy P802 and both were the correct size, but I still recommend starting with the test print. Please note that the tight fit means that you can only insert and remove the marker cap a few times before the ridges on the cap will wear away and the fit will become too loose for the part to hold the cap in place.
