Summary

A set of five nested cuboctahedra. Each instance is ¾ the size of the previous and is captive but fully free to rotate.

This design can be easily 3d printed without supports at arbitrary size and with as many nested instances as you wish because there are no bridges, the face angles are amenable to 3d printing, and the instances don't touch when resting on the plate.
