Amerikafarare (or english parson arriving to his parish).

Inspired by the work of Elsi Bourelius (swedish ceramic artist) I made this figure in Sculptris.

The original is way better, but I think mine turned out pretty good anyway, even though he looks more like an englishman to me, perhaps a parson who just arrived to his new parish.

The word "Amerikafararna" refers to the men and women who left Sweden in search for a better life in the United States of America (aka USA/America/"Amerikat") during the late 1800s and early 1900s. About 1.5 million swedish people left their homes during this period.
