Summary

These were actually my first print designs and I am still using them now after printing quite a few other pieces. So be merciful...I know the tower piece can be modded to something cooler but what I've got works just fine, the holder is legit though.

Print Settings:
Holder - layer height 0.2mm or 0.3, fill 0.3
Tower - same, average settings really

The "spoolholder" is a two piece support system to span the top area of a Printrbot Plus v2.1, it offers rigidity and and two rail accessory beam to the game. It uses #6-32 bolt/nut (x1 each) and 8mmx355mm shaft (x2). The nut goes in the slot, the bolt goes in the hole, the z axes go in the bottoms, and then you've got a baby holder.

The "spooltower" is a small tower that I threw together to hold my only two colors of filament that I currently have (black and white) and work with the rail system I had made. I was still getting used to solidworks so it was all I could do to get the design I ended up with, it may not be pretty but it works. It uses the same #6-32 bolt/nut (x1 each, upside down) to fasten to the rails and the top is a 12mm Dia. wooden dowel that is secured with a small screw. Simple and gets the job done.
