Printrbot Simple Extruder Fan Mount

Here's a little 40mm fan mount I came up with for my Printrbot Simple 2014 with aluminum extruder. Air is blown directly onto the direct drive gear. The bracket itself bolts to the top of the Y-carriage using two existing M3x20 bolts. I also added a filament guide which is compression-fit into the main bracket. You may need to sand the filament guide down a bit to get it to fit. I attached my fan to the mount using two extra M3x20 screws & nuts from assembling my Printrbot.

I'm powering the fan with the 12V power from the heat bed (which I'm not using) and the ground of the 5V E-stop connection. See photos for details. Extruder runs cool to the touch during printing.
