Wind Speed Anemometer - Built using PC fan parts
Nothing new about Anemometer's for measuring wind speed.
I noticed many print the entire Cup and Rotor assembly, I prefer to mix materials, makes you think about integrating other components into your print giving the finished project build a bit more complexity.
I noticed many order mechanical components for their builds, I like the idea of re purposing materials.
For this build I used a "Computer Fan".
The computer fan as is can not be used, its motor winding's and metal core index to the rotor magnet, needing higher winds to turn.
But if you disassemble the fan, you will be provided with a bearing, maybe a bush and a shaft and rotor hub to build around.
