Sliding carriage for profiled rail guide

This is a custom made guiding system for my old Würth router. I was disappointed that there are no accessories available for older models, so I decided to make my own. Available guide rails (typically for portable circular saws) are also expensive so I made my own guiding system using stock parts from the department store.

You need a guiding rail, I'm using an aluminium profile with flat sides. This makes it easy to mount on the workpiece. Designed for 24mm square profile.

I used M8 threaded rods to mount the router.
