Box to enclose the Fabster 3D LCD Shield in a nice little box.

LCD Mount Bracked added to suit Prusa Mendel 8mm rod frame.

Clearance added for nuts at vertex.

Through holes added for zip ties to secure to frame

2mm additional internal clearance added at rear of lcd panel for cabling runs

Mounting location set so that button is directly over the mount, all user force directed straight at frame.

Last photo shows pegs melted down to secure LCD to box.

Heated them up with a small butane torch then pressed them down using the base of a large drill bit

132 x 63 x 6.5 Inset recess at base to allow assembly to sit onto "Universal" mount plate for machinery mount options. One such mount is included here, for Prusa Mendel

Knob Recess Ã˜12.5

LCD Opening 76mm x 26 mm, with setback to outer bezel 98 x 40.5 (0.9mm cover to LCD Bezel)

2.5mm side walls 2.4mm front face.

Corner bevels added for more "finished" appearance

Fit is good.

Pins and heights all spot on.

Next project is to make a mounting and suitable box for Fabster3D Arduino/ramps/LCDBoard combination for Prusa Mendel, in conjunction with this box, and my Power Supply box.
