Levelling the heavy EQ-5 and scope  mounted is another problem though, I will solve later with a leg leveller. </p><p>You can also use other types of spirit levellers, like round ones. But this 2-bubble-type has the advantage of a perfect viewing angle from front and the side. You do <em>not have to view from above</em> where the view is hindered by either the mount or the scope. </p><p>I use a special 2-component glue with is ready within 5-10 minutes. So this is enough time to fix anything, if needed. Do not use epoxy-glue. It will not work with plastics.  </p><h3>How to</h3><ol><li>First mount the platform.</li><li>Tighten the screws (not too much) - you can use self locking nuts for this task</li><li>Level the tripod (without the EQ-5) AND THEN DO NOT MOVE THE TRIPOD</li><li>Prepare the glue and put enough onto the back of the spirit leveler</li><li>Glue the spirit level onto the platform and adjust it, so it is calibrated (you calibrated the mount in step )</li><li>Control until the </li></ol><p>Have fun<br>Axel</p></div>
