Customizable Motherboard Backplate

Included measurements are for an ASUS M3A78-CM motherboard
The main variable is a vector that allows you to specify how far to move to the next cutout (hole for allowing motherboard ports to be accessed), as well as the size of the cutout
Can be completely customized for the measurements involved. As a result, with Customizer this backplate can support any ATX motherboard.

How I Designed This

Measured, then wrote OpenSCAD program

            <div><ul><li>I measured the ports on the motherboard and the size of the hole for the backplate for the ASUS M37A-CM</li><li>Wrote an OpenSCAD program designed to be completely generic (for any motherboard), including snap-in dots</li><li>Tested the print results and iterated (the measuring part was tricky)</li></ul></div>

A better way to measure

            <div><p>What I should have done for measurement, instead of measuring the physical ports, is take a photo (with a ruler to give the prop scale) and measured the photo.</p></div>
