Summary

These supports allow to use simple flat 10mm x 2mm aluminium bars as frame stiffeners for the Kossel Clear.

Instructions

You'll need 4 stiffener supports of each type and 4 aluminium bars of 10mm x 2mm (1m long each).

Put the 4 aluminium bars all together with adhesive tape and cut them properly at each extremity (angle is 24.6 degrees; length around 83cm - precision is not crucial).

Make 3 holes: 1 at each extremity (distance between holes = 805mm <- this one is important) plus 1 hole in the exact middle of the bar.

For each pair of bars, return one of the 2 bars and fix the 2 bars together through their middle hole. I used use a 3.2 mm rivet but an M3 8 will be fine too.

You now have 2 crosses. You can fix the extremities of each cross on the top bar and lower bottom bar of your Kossel Clear using one M3 10 at each corner and using the proper (A or B) support in each case.

Do not tighten the M3 untill all 4 corners are fixed. Widen the cross as much as possible (the bars will be stretched) and tighten the screws. Repeat for the other side.

You now have a stiff Kossel Clear and the top of it will not move anymore during printing !
