pascee's Mars base

The domes are made from radiation-proof canvas with small supporting struts on the sides anchored to the ground. Each dome contains enough food to last the mission, a redundant communication system, and a water reclaimer to recover water from the air. The rovers are rechargeable and have treads. The base is powered by an external nuclear reactor. A 2/3 meter diameter drill will be used to collect samples and learn more about Mars beneath the crust. The space ship will have retractable solar panels for in-space flight and a liquid fuel booster for takeoff.
